No school, Asian style, and I think my sister is gonna burn the house down

Have you ever read the book SUNSHINE by Robin McKinley? I got to page 200 and had to stop. I know, I know! It was amazing for me because it's a vampire book, and I PUT IT DOWN! Writing sucked, and it kinda draaaagggeedddd...although Constantine (the vampire) was very hot in that book. He's the only good part...
Ahhh...it's funny. Today there's no school because of a huge thunderstorm last night. This is AWESOME! What to do with all this time, I wonder? Ahahaha, and yesterday Kelly H. was talkin about having it flood and having no school...guess her wish came true!
I remember when I went to the Hmong soccer tournament, that whole big shindig thing in St. Paul or w/e. Just to mention something: all the Hmong girls are divided into three types of styles--be a complete whore/prep and wear about five lbs of make up, be totally FOB and dorky, or be a complete ghetto/hip hoppy wannabe. That's what everyone's used to, right?
So when I walk in in my cargo pants, stud belt, black t-shirt, and my fingerless fish-net gloves thingys that Damla gave me in 9th grade, everyone looks at me. Adults included. Of course I don't notice because well, duh it's normal to me. (psh define normal anyway?) and my mom begs me to take the gloves off. At first I get pissed--so what if ppl are staring? It's a different style from all you typical Asians. But seeing how I love my mom, I take em off.
It's just stupid how people do that. And then they call you wannabes for wearing what you like, even if your style wasn't that way ALL your life. Well, hello, how are we ppl supposed to "find ourself" if we don't try new stuff? (ahem, and this excludes drugs, free sex, and anything else that just contradicts with COMMON SENSE).
Anyways, I'm done venting.
I think my sister might just succeed in burning our house down. She's making sausages and then playing videogames without watching them. GGGRRRRR, twelve-year-olds and little sisters...
